Withdrawal from the agreement and the cancellation policy
The client has a right to cancel their stay at any time, i.e. to withdraw from the agreement. The contractual relationship is terminated and the reservation is cancelled as on the date when they notify Resort Valachy of the agreement termination (cancellation of the stay) in written or oral form. In such a case, the hotel is entitled to charge a cancellation fee (contractual penalty). The cancellation fee is due immediately. Once the cancellation fee is deducted from the total price of the accommodation paid, the client will receive the remaining amount. If the cancellation fee is higher than the deposit paid, the client is obliged to settle the amount of the cancellation fee.
Cancellation fees:
- 20% of the price of the accommodation if it is cancelled 30 to 44 days in advance;
- 50% of the price of the accommodation if it is cancelled 14 to 29 days in advance;
- 70% of the price of the accommodation if it is cancelled 7 to 13 days in advance;
- 100% of the price if it is cancelled 6 or less days in advance.
If the guest cancels a part of their stay or does not use any of the services that have been paid for, they are not entitled to any reimbursement. If any of the services that have been ordered are cancelled, the hotel reserves the right to apply the cancellation policy, debiting the guest’s hotel account under the following terms: 100% of the price of any services not used (e.g. massage therapist services, relaxation procedures) if they are cancelled less than 24 hours in advance.
